Ambersprite does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and makes no network connections. Everything you create stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.
Sprites, palettes, brushes, animation projects and their automatic recovery snapshots are stored locally in the app's own storage on your iPad. When you use Save, Export, Import or Share, iOS presents the system file or share sheet and the file is written to, or read from, the exact location you pick (for example On My iPad, or iCloud Drive if you select it). Ambersprite never uploads your work anywhere on its own.
When you add a reference image, brush, or tileset atlas from your photos, iOS shows its standard photo picker. That picker runs outside the app; Ambersprite receives only the single image you tap and has no access to the rest of your photo library. The app never writes to your photo library.
If iOS detects a crash or performance hitch, it may hand the app an anonymous, aggregated diagnostic report (Apple's MetricKit). Ambersprite writes these reports to a local folder only, so they can help improve a future version if you ever send them to us by email. They are never transmitted automatically and contain no personal data or artwork.
Ambersprite is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no data and shows no ads or external links inside the drawing experience, it complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU GDPR-K requirements by design.
Ambersprite bundles no third-party advertising, analytics, or attribution software. The only external party involved is Apple, which operates the App Store and the on-device services (Files, Photos picker, iCloud Drive) that you choose to use.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
