Velin does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs, does not require an account, and does not sell or share personal information. Velin does not collect data.
Notebook metadata, handwriting, imported documents and images, audio recordings, handwriting-recognition results, study cards, and preferences are stored only on your device. Velin has no server and no cloud sync in this version.
Velin requests a permission only when you use the feature that needs it:
Content leaves Velin only when you explicitly export or share it (for example, exporting a PDF or a backup file and sending it yourself). Delete notebooks through Trash. Removing the app deletes its local data.
The app’s privacy manifest declares Apple “required reason” API usage for reading and writing user preferences (UserDefaults) and for file timestamps, used only for normal app function.
